Other transportation support activities
The company is engaged in the provision of railway and road transport services. It was founded in 2008 and has its registered head office in the city of Irun in Spain. The company offers railway transport covering railway traffic both in Spain and internationally, own pool of specialist rolling stock, agreements with Europe’s main railway operators, logistics operations in support of rail transport, storage and distribution of freight, handling of all kinds of freight, specialization in steel, forestry, bulk and large consumer goods, and links to major ports (Marine division); frontier operations covering warehouse fitted with UIC broad gauge and Iberian gauge tracks, deconsolidation and storage of freight at both frontiers (Atlantic: Irun - Hendaye; and Mediterranean: Portbou - Perpignan), ongoing rail/road traffic after the frontier, and sole silo available for transferring bulk at the frontier; international operations covering import and/or export studies with bespoke solutions, integral logistics, and development of new distribution points in Europe (Eastern European countries); management and improvement of in-house logistics processes covering management and improvement of logistics processes at customers’ facilities, management of independent scrap-yard, and outsourcing; and management of container terminals covering handling of intermodal transport units (ITUs) at different container terminals, and proprietary container terminal in Hendaye. The company is organised into two main arteries that traverse the Iberian Peninsula and service all areas: Atlantic (Irún, Sestao, Madrid, Noain, Zumarraga, Other terminuses, and Hendaye), and Mediterranean (Portbou, Sagunto, Perpignan and Barcelona).
